Halloween in the FJB English Department

Ms. Mastronardi lays down the law.

Mrs. Jeannotte's grade 12 English class wrote 2-sentence horror stories. Here are a couple:

"I was walking home alone down an alley at 1 a.m., as I hear a stick snap behind me. I turn around to see that no one's there; when I turn back around, there is a black figure staring back at me."

"I woke up to the sweet smell of my mom's homemade pancakes. She's been dead for 2 years."

"I always go camping by myself. When I got back from the trip and looked at the pictures, there were pictures of me sleeping."

See the inspiration here: "27 Two-Sentence Horror Stories." Read if you dare...

What's Going on in English?

We had a few classes with small numbers due to retreats and field trips, today, but learning was the main priority!

Ms. Mastronardi’s class was busy working on media literacy!  A few were posing for the camera, of course....

Ms. Peacock’s class was in for a treat!  The Mazerunner is a better book than movie.  Just ask period 1!
